To empower individuals affected by mental health and substance use disorders through supportive environments that foster recovery, promote resilience, and restore hope. By integrating personalized care plans, community support, and advocacy, we strive to break the stigma, heal lives, and help individuals reclaim their well-being and purpose. 

 To have a place where all individuals affected by mental health and substance use disorders have access to compassionate and accountable support, and the opportunity to lead fulfilling empowered lives. We envision a community free from stigma, where recovery is celebrated, prevention is prioritized, and every person is treated with dignity and respect. 

 We believe that every individual has the right to dignity, healing, and hope. Our values are grounded in compassion, respect, and accountability. We honor each person’s unique journey by fostering a nonjudgmental environment. We advocate for recovery by empowering individuals, to help eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and addiction.  

Ashley Bates was a prior Cass County Sheriff's Deputy that help start the CSU program at the Jail, Since leaving in  2023 she assisted with helping those in the community as a Care Coordinator and sharing her style of what works for those struggling with Mental and Substance disorders. Bates' compassion to help those in the community speaks for itself with her hands on approach to make sure people are successful.
